I need help with.....

I have received a VAT return reminder, what should I do?

This reminder will probably be generated by us and is an email notification that the VAT period has just ended and you have until the end of the month to provide us the figures, or calculate your own VAT and submit to HMRC.

If we normally submit the VAT then you should send us details of income and expenditure during the last 3 months and bank statements if relevant.  However, if you use an electronic accounting system, such as our online system, alternative or a spread sheet this may suffice (without having to send in your invoices)

If you calculate the VAT return yourself then you should ensure this is done as soon as possible and passed to us for checking if you would like.
