This service is an add-on to Clever Accounts Ltd and is provided by Clever Accounts Ltd.
Accepting the terms
- You must accept the Terms before you can use the service. If you do not accept the Terms then you are unable to use the service.
Providing the service
- The service is provided to you by Clever Accounts Ltd via Receipt Bank Ltd
- Receipt Bank Limited are a third party company and Clever Accounts would not be liable for any issues that arise from using the service from them.
- You must satisfy yourself that you are willing to accept the terms and conditions from Receipt Bank Ltd also.
- Clever Accounts will not be liable for any inaccuracy of data downloaded from Receipt Bank and you must ensure you check for accuracy at all times.
- You accept that Clever Accounts can suspend and discontinue this service at any time and without prior notice.
- You agree that you are solely responsible for all data within Clever Accounts.
Uses and Limitations
- ReceiptScan provides unlimited processing of receipts for the monthly charge of £5 + vat per month.
- Once a receipt has been processed, notification will be pushed to you via your mobile phone.
- If you are unable to read the receipt it is unlikely the processing software will be able to process the receipt.
- In order to improve accuracy, ensure the picture is flat, free of staples, paper clips and staples etc.
- You are not allowed to process receipts for anyone else on your account.
- If a receipt cannot be processed, you will get notification to try again. If the receipt fails again you may have to manually enter the receipt.
- Handwritten notes will not be processed.
- For security, it is advisable not to scan receipts that have your full credit card details on.
- Receipts that are only in English and in UK sterling will be processed. Any other language or currency will not be processed.
- We cannot guarantee that the processing will always be accurate nor all the information will be processed. The better the receipt quality the better the chance the receipt will be processed accurately.
Payment and Fees
- The service will cost £5.00+vat per month unless you have signed up to the bookkeeping package.
- Clients that have signed up to the "Bookkeeping Lite" or "Bookkeeping Complete" package (which includes the bookkeeping service) has the charge already included in the monthly fee and so no further fee will be charged.
- Until we have a valid direct debit mandate in place for your account we cannot activate the service for you. Please note, payment by paypal, direct transfer or standing order is not allowed for the continued use of the service.
- The monthly fees will start on the next available billing cycle, usually at the start of the next month.
Cancellation of the service
- You can cancel the service at anytime by deactivating it in Clever Accounts.
- Deactivation will occur in the month of request but no refund will be made for any fees already charged or awaiting collection via direct debit.
- Clever Accounts has the right to deactivate the service at any time, without any prior notice.
